County First Bank proudly sponsored its 23rd annual George B. Morris Art Show on November 7, 2013 at Mary B. Neale Elementary School in Waldorf. This event highlights the artistic talents of third and fourth graders in the Charles County Elementary Schools. Participating schools and winners receive monetary awards to further enhance the schools’ art departments. Additionally, budding young artists have an opportunity to showcase their creativity amongst their peers, parents, teachers, administrators and the community.

Over a dozen County First employees volunteered their time and talents in coordinating, organizing, judging, set up, hosting and greeting young artists, teachers, and their families. Twenty-four public and private schools participated. This year’s theme was “Scenic Charles County”.
