Homeless Walk - County First Bank sponsored ten employees to brave a brisk November morning to raise money and awareness for “Safe Nights”. This program feeds and provides a warm night off the street for the homeless in Charles County. The event was coordinated by Lifestyles of Maryland and is supported by County First and numerous other businesses and churches. Solomon’s Christmas Walk- Prince Frederick Branch Manager, Bonnie Barrett volunteered more than 20 hours for this annual event that is a delight to children big and small. The three-day series of festive celebration began with a tree lighting with Santa ceremony on Friday, music, food, craft artisans, a lit boat parade, live nativity, entertainment throughout the weekend, and ended with a Solomon’s Business Association holiday gathering.  Thanks to Bonnie and the many volunteers that give timeless hours back to the Calvert Community. Toys for Tots- County First Operations Center employee Donna Carpentieri joined with the Charles County Sherriff’s Office Teen Court to help collect new toys for the Toys for Tots program. Numerous employees, directors, friends and family members donated three full car loads of toys. Thanks to Donna and the County First Family for their overwhelming generosity to ensure that many children will be smiling on Christmas morning!
